About Us
Tampa Ghost Watchers understand that those experiencing paranormal phenomenon are under a great deal of stress. What they are experiencing is often times frightening and confusing. Add to that a poor history of paranormal investigators releasing information to the press without permission, conducting investigations like a circus and treating those experiencing these events poorly and it becomes quite understandable why many may fear an investigator. It is this problem that investigators today must overcome. This information has been developed to help explain Tampa Ghosts Watchers' objectives and methods to those who are hesitant.
Who Is Tampa Ghost Watchers?
Tampa Ghost Watchers is a paranormal investigation organization based out of Tampa, Hillsborough County, Florida. Our objective is to help any who are experiencing paranormal events by investigating and assisting in the determination of what they are experiencing. We do this by using the scientific method wherever possible and at the full cost of the investigator. Tampa Ghost Watchers will never charge for an investigation. Tampa Ghost Watchers' philosophy is that investigating teams should be small (no larger than 5 members), knowledgeable and experienced.
Privacy Policy
Privacy is of the utmost importance at Tampa Ghost Watchers. During the course of an investigation, personal and other information is obtained and held by group members. Tampa Ghost Watchers takes this responsibility very seriously. No information will be released to anyone without the expressed written permission from all those involved.
To accomplish this task, all involved with an investigation must sign a confidentiality agreement. When press or other agencies request information on the investigation, an information release form will be offered to those involved. If they so choose, they may sign the release allowing the information to be released to the requesting agent and ONLY to the requesting agent. A release form would need to be signed for EACH requesting agent.
Liability
We try our utmost to prevent such accidents and in all of our history we have never had complaints of such incidents, however, Tampa Ghost Watchers realizes that accidents DO happen. Tampa Ghost Watchers investigators take full responsibility for any injuries to their members, damage to their equipment or damage to the property that may occur during the course of an investigation. We understand that we have been invited to investigate a location. We should not act as intruders but as guests.
